The 51-year-old actress - who shot to fame playing vixen Samantha Jones in the hit US TV show - couldn't have been happier to reprise her role alongside co-stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis.

She told In Touch Weekly magazine: "We had an amazing time together. After shooting, the girls and I would go to Nobu restaurant and salute each other. It was a very nostalgic feeling. It was like a family reunion.

"After being away for so much time, I was really longing to play Samantha again. It's so good to be home again. I started 'Sex and the City' when I was 41 and I showed them I can be sexy - and now 10 years later, I have no plans to slow down!"

Kim - who is dating chef Alan Wyse - also said her life is back on track following her rough patch in 2004 when the show finished after a six-year run.

She said: "The show was coming to an end, my dad was diagnosed with dementia and I was going through a divorce. But now I'm in a fantastic place. I have a wonderful boyfriend and I am having so much fun."
