M Melbourne, Jan 2 : It looks like Australians have quite a fixation with the names 'James' and 'Olivia', for the titles have topped the popularity list for Victorian newborns in 2007, for the fourth year in a row.
Across Victoria, 613 baby boys were named Jack, followed by Thomas, William, Joshua, Lachlan, James, Ethan, Noah, Oliver and Benjamin, in popularity.

Famous brands like - Diesel, Mercedes, Armani and Chanel also entered the list of baby names. Celebrities too, left an impression on parents, with Lleyton and Bec Hewitt's daughter's name Mia coming third in the names list. Hollywood star Sienna Miller's Christian name came in at number eight, while Seth and Summer, both characters on a popular television show, were given about 100 times each. "Of course that replaces the old tradition of Kylie and Jason in the 80s," News.com.au quoted Helen Trihas, registrar of the Victorian Registry for Births, Deaths and Marriages, as saying.
