  The misquoted prices may be due to NTUC Fairprice’s massive giving out of food coupons to low-income families following sharp rises in food prices. However, shoppers still commented they were dissatisfied with the turn of events. NTUC, which stands for National Trades Union Congress, is a trade union under the Singapore government.
