The customized local site is an easily-replicated model for individual communities around the world.
The innovative partnership was first announced at the C40 Large Cities Climate Summit New York in May 2007 by Toronto Mayor David Miller. He laid down a challenge to all cities around the world to join the new web-based initiative. And others are coming aboard. To date Seattle and Boulder, Colorado are on-line with other cities around the United States gearing up to join.
