Hunter S. Thompson meets Hemingway?! Really? Which "friend" of yours said that, Andy? Reads more like an failed comedian embittered about his decided lack of talent.

Ok writing prompts aren't for everyone and for those that do use them maybe they use them just to get their bodies a kick in the ass to get up and write ever so often.
Who are we to judge why one does something over why they don't. Writers Digest has been a god send for me in that I have been able to find more resources than I ever thought existed out there.
You are certainly entitled to your opinion, but there are those of us that use whatever we can to keep us motivated. No matter how trivial and moronic it may look.

I accidently found this article and am worse for it.
You are a moron.
"accidentally" WOW what a smart guy!!!
Andy may be a bigger man not to mention how much of a moron "shitlick", I mean "fudgelick" is but as far as me...I don't give a shit about that fudge. I think he is a moron and Andy is the God of writing, so I say it. No need to keep it in.

Another satisfied customer!
Mr. Fudgelick teaches Creative Writing at the local community college and has earned almost $43.00 as a creator of writing prompts for Writer's Digest. It is an honor to have him here.
As always, thanks for reading!

I have only one question: Why didn't I bother writing something like this when I was hit with over 30 emails filled with writing prompts in 48 hours?!?!?

Now THAT'S Funny! I suppose I'm blacklisted in the publishing and writer's community now. Ah well. Comedy is not pretty.
I guess if I do follow-up commentaries on prompts I'll have to check to make sure none of our staffers submitted them. LOL!
Thanks for the informative and kind words. ;)

these writing prompts were sent in by readers of the magazine and someone at the magazine picked the best of what was sent in, how do i know this? because i wrote some of the prompts! (although none of the ones you high lighted!)
