A Little Boy's View of Education

As the lesson was going on,
The little boy tells me,
“I hate doing homework!”
Explaining-
Doing homework is like practising-
For things like getting better at computer games, swimming or school work.
Having a pause in between, musing,
“Don’t you find education helps you make better sense of the world you live in?
This is why I am in education.”
A moment of silence-
He looks at me,
And I look at him.
Then the conversation goes-
“If you are educated,
You can earn money and land a good job.”
Next lesson, I come again,
He says, “Teacher, I know why I need to do homework now!
So I can earn money and buy Pokemon cards!”
