Think about it if marijuana is totally made illegal—do you really think an unhappy workforce is going to be half as productive. I’m thinking NO. My point is we are told that as adults, we have the power to change the world, raise future generations, and build communities on the moon someday, but yet our government is telling us that we don't have the sense to make the right choices for ourself. Ain't that the damnest thing! Chrsit people, how many phases of social control do we have to give into until we get tired of all the bullshit. I think its high time that we stood up and introduced America to another role of nornality--not just the one that the conservative community has graciously defined for us.

It is my opinion that nobody has been given the right to judge anybody else. America claims to be a Christian nation. With that said, I am reminded of a Matthew: 7:1-5. “Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.”

People are always scared of what they don’t know about. Come on people, educate yourselves. How much freedom do we have to lose before we fight back? What personal liberty do you have to loose before you get off your ass and say that enough is enough.

The point to all this is this: before all you anti-pot-anti-choice-anti-freedom people wag your finger and preach at me about how my pot smoking is deviant behavior —do your research. And before you go quoting some study, know that I have B.A. in Social Science and am well aware that research can be skewed to fit anybodies opinion. Example: medicating children is a good thing.

Smoking Marijuana should be seen for what it really is: An informed adult decision. Notice that I said that it was an adult decision, anyone who is eighteen and over should have the privilege of making up their own minds. Hey, if eighteen year olds are fighting a war, than they ought to have the choice to smoke pot—or not. I say legalize, tax and monitor it like we do alcohol.

Life is too short to be treated like a criminal. I’m sick of being told that pot smoking is criminal behavior. I’m sick of uneducated, not to mention, misinformed people telling me that I’m a bad person for being a pot smoker. Most of all, I’m tired of having to defend myself against invalid sterotypes that are pushed on the public by a both a biased goverment and a one sided media.

Don’t you just hate it when pot smokers succeed at higher education.

    Until next time…smoke responsibly.

I enjoy the high the sleepyness and the other affects to heart, now i may have only been smoking for maby a year but i still say every voice should be herd at the moment im 16 have had my license now for 7 1/2 monthes and have droven high and silver it has not affected my reaction time or general sense of being in any way yes i may get a little more lasy but have i ever felt violent on it NO i get a little hungry now and then but eh. i agrre that at a certain age it should be a choice you can make yes i have relizied that i may be too young but i choose this in all serisness that it is being my choice and no other if it was taxed farmed and controlled no i would not mine because it would be the same as getting alcohole or ciggerets, and i have to ask maby just to prove this to my self how many deaths have you ever known to be casued purly by pot ever in your intire lifes.

although i am not an adult yet, i agree with everything you had to say. I'm glad that there are people standing up for pot, and the way you wrote that article, its perfect! I didnt even know that they decided to illegalize marijuana over racism, thats PURE stupidity.

i mean, my don't they just worry about cocaine and heroine, they cause actual problems.

Thank you! Countless redneck bastards have been making my life tough simply because i am a pothead... Its horrible! The sad fact of that matter is that there is a large number of cops that will steal your pot and let you go free without a ticket.

And i also dunno what the deal with the *laziness* thing is.. I find work easier when im stoned. I have been a toker since 13 and im proud of it. It has never messed with my ability to think, nor has it screwed with my reflexes. In fact, i think it actually allows me to learn more effectively. As a skilled artist, i can easily say that the imagination-sparking abilities of the kind benefit me greatly. You cant talk shit about bud... thats like... saying chocolate is bad because it makes you feel good. Cannabis is nowhere near as harmful as alcohol, anti-depressants, and the like.

Please use your spell checker when you are proclaiming to the world that you are educated! Having been a smoker for 30 years, I agree with what you said. If people don't stand up and read the constitution, there will be no one left except the filthy rich and the starving poor.
You are right about the age limit and the taxation of smoking. I read a stat once that said, "If marijuana was legalized and taxed; there would be no more welfare or sales tax on food."
There is a real concern about ovI think NO ONE can learn while smoking, in or out of class, smoking can create a false sense of well being and complacence that prevents many from moving their lives beyond menial labor. Of course, pee tests, which are un-constitutional, keep folks stuck in the
Final note, I have a Master's Degree in Education, learned to smoke on an Army base, and never finished high School.
Yes children, civil disobedience exists, but let there be no doubt, unless we unite; you still cannot fight city hall!
