On May 13, there was a severe 7.6 earthquake in Sichuan Province of China. 10000 people died till now. Over 300 pupils died in one school. Seismic waves affected Beijing and Shanghai.

For such a severe earthquake, there should have some sign. Why didn¡¯t the local seismic office issue a forecast? They are not to be blamed, because their office building has been pulled down by some housing developers backed by the local government.
