This is the Olympic year.  The communist government of China promised to respect human rights and give freedom for the reporters when it applied for the games to take place in China.

But until now, it still puts its hand tightly on the throat of the press, especially to the domestic newspapers.

The Chinese government always tells lies on their controlled newspapers and television stations.

Any reporters who tell truth will be punished or even put into jail.

They are afraid that people will know the facts about the situations of SARS, AIDS or their killing of the innocent people in a village in Guangdong Province.

A man called Hu Jia was imprisoned since he was concerned with AIDS patients.

He was accused of overthrowing of the government. The latest news reports that he will be tried soon and estimatingly be sentenced for 5 years imprisonment.

Every government on Earth have dirty secrets. And Chinese government just happen to not have as many corporate media companies to help them with propaganda.

Like it or not, Olympics is a party for the 1.3 Billion Chinese. The CCP may put some propaganda in it, but nobody really watches those parts.

But if you going to ruin the "party" because you don't like the party banner, you are going to just p*ss off 1.3 billion Chinese party goers.

And then, they won't care what cause you are trying to sell.

To be fair to the Chinese government, internal strife has always served to be the derailing of China throughout its history. It has always been Chinese fighting the Chinese.

I know one thing for sure: the ideology of capitalism is not suitable for China at all. There must be a new ideology specially designed for China.
