I see that there are quite a few short people shame i never ever get to meet many.Now i come from a family of Spanish and Irish.Now both of these arent very tall nations.I have spent time in Spain where most of the adults are no taller than 5'7.In Ireland it is very similar to where i am now in England.My dad is from Spain and mum is from Ireland.My dad is only 5'4 tall and mum is 4'11.I have 2 older siblings a sister who is 32 and she is 5'2 and my brother who is 38 he is 5'0.Me i am 28 and my height is 4'10 i couldnt even make mum's height.I have had very few knockbacks regarding my height has for some reason the woman like my sense of humour and personality.So i can handle that i find that mostly these tall guys cant handle it.They mention alot of the times when i am with a woman they say what you doing with that.Dont ask me why maybe beause they try to be manly wbut it never works for them hey.So i have never bother about my height or a womans height.I have met woman between 4'9 and 5'10.I wasnt too keen on the 5'10 has they still wanted to wear high heels and thus taking them over 6'0 tall.It was like David and Goliath on some dates.Now i am serious with a woman and even though she is abit taller than me we never let it bother us.Being with Carlista is like a fantasy i have to pinch myself that i am not dreaming sometimes.When we go out she likes to wear heels and the maximum are 3 ins so she stands at about 5'5 whereas without shoes it doesnt take much working out she is about 5'2.I mean it is lovely when we kick our shoes off after going out and the height is okay for us.Being only 5 ins shorter than her is not a problem kissing is easy and dont forget we are all the same lying down.I am glad that i dont have to get on tiptoes to kiss her has she is just less than her head that is taler.

I hear your pain on being short,only for me it is harder because i am an asian guy.I apparently have brought shame on my father because i have not reached a suitable height for him.I am now 21yrs old and my father says that he feels he can not find a partner for me to marry.All the families he has contacted have said no to him.Now it is not my fault that i was only able to gain a height of 4'10.My mum is only 4'11 and dad is 5'1.He feels i have let him down because i have a younger sister who is 20 yrs old and she is 5'2 and an older brother who is 5'4.All through my childhood i was always told by him that men are brothers are taller than their sisters.Which is not always the case is it.I have met 5 partners who have turned me down for my height and said the same has usual if only you were taller.Now some of these woman are mostly my height i did meet a woman who was 5'8 her father just laughed has i walked out of the room.I am planning to leave India for a better way of life and hopefully to meet someone of my own free choice.I can see where i got my height from my mother but i did mention that my dad's mother was also short and possibly that made it so.I remember that my dad said dont you dare put the blame on my mother has she did well for himself. I have just got married to a wonderful woman, we are both 30 years old now and been partners for 10 years.We were both at the same school we left and then met up a few years later.Now being short has never bothered me i mean woman used to always want to chat with me.It seemed to bother tall boys at school i ended with a date for the disco and alot didnt.I remember being 1 of 6 short guys we were all between 5'0 and 5'3.Me 5'1 there were alot of short girls in our year i think about at least 10 of them.They were between 4'9 and 5'2.I used to joke about my height saying how thankful i was to have reached a little over 5'0.I decided to take Janine to the disco she was abit taller than me i think 5'3.When i picked her up at her house to my surprise she wore high heels.I said to her WOW how tall are you she said that her heels were 4 ins so she was possibly about 5'7.I joked that i bet she didnt wear them all night,she did well has she lasted till 30 mins from the end of the disco.She decided to kick them off and i said how that was much better i could kiss her properly.
After school i met up with Lousia she is half italian we went on regular dates with other friends.She came from my school and that is who i married.We had lived together before marriage has it was best all round.Now Louisa is about 2 ins shorter than myself until she put her shoes on has she likes abit of a heel.Now she is my ideal height because after the school disco i was never gonna date a tall woman.Louisa is also the same she always likes the shorter guy so it was a good match.

I understand what you say in your article everything rings true to me.I am now 25 years old and my height is only 4'10 i was gutted when i was told by my doctor that i would not reach 5'0.I suppose least he was right hey.i have a younger brother who is 5'11 and he is 23 yrs old and my youngest sister Donna she is 21 years she is 5'9.For some reason they both got me dad height he is 6'2 ME i got mum's height she is 5'0.Shame she couldnt get me to 5'0 like herself.She tells me all the time that it is no different being 4'10 has it is being 5'0 has there isnt much in it.Mum was quite strange whn we were growing up i think that she didnt want any of us being short for some reason.She was always making us drink our milk up daily and to take vitamin caps,IT was a ritual every birthday we had we had to endure the height check.I think it started when i was about 5 yrs old.Mum had bought a height check chart and it used to say at what height the age was.Peter also started when he was 5 years old,then came Donna.I used to treat it has a game when it was my birthday mum used to go right stand straight against the wall.She would then write my age and date on it.I did notice when i was 8 or 9 that some of the kids in class looked abit taller than me.Some girls even mentioned it to me a boy came up to me and said that if i didnt start growing he would have to call me a dwarf.Well i mentioned it to mum and that is when she stressed out about it.I was taken to the doctor who did some physical checks on me.He checked my bone structure and said that i take after her.My mum had her height checked and she was told that she was 5'0.I was told to come back in a month and the results would be back soon.It was then that i was told that i would not even reach 5'0 possibly somewhere between 4'9 and 4'11.My height in the meantime was only 3'11.Most of my friends were taller than me but still hung around with me.My best friend was Maisie she was about 4 ins taller than me.My height steadied at 4'2 age 13 years old.Donna was already nearly taller than me by a few inches so was Peter and they were both younger.I dont remember having my growth spurt has being shorter than the rest of the class it made no difference.I had no shortage of boys asking me to go to the end of school disco i decided on Liam he was shorter than alot of the boys in our year so it was nice not having to look upwards at the tall guys.Liam asked me politly if i was gonna be wearing high heels i just said was he joking i would fall and break me neck and we both laughed.Liam said OH THAT IS GOOD HAS I LIKE IT HAS IT IS.There was me waiting at the door when it as time to be picked up Liam came in briefly and said HI to mum and dad he looked really smart in his suit and i had my dress that had to be altered to make it shorter.So out we went ME standing at 4'11 with shoes 1 inch high and Liam was standing at 5'3 I mentioned that he looked taller to my astonishment he said that he bought shoes with the highes heel and laughed.he showed me the shoes and they had 3 ins on them.I just laughed and said that he cheated.Even though he was still shorter than most of the people even girls that were there HE would love to be that tall (i.r.l).I said that it wasnt that much taller than he was anyway.I still see Liam around and sadly to say he didnt get the extra inches he had hoped for but still wears shoes with an heel on them.

I love being short i am 18 now and my height is 4'9.At first when i realised i was gonna be short i made the best of it.I have a twin sister who lucky for he gained abit more height than i could.Her height is 4'10 so not exactly a giant i would have liked it to have been the other way round but i think it is to do with her being born before me.Now mum is also 4'10 and dad is 5'0.It possibly would have bothered me if my parents were way taller than that but i can handle it.WORK WITH YOUR HEIGHT AND DONT LET IT BE A HINDRANCE.

I didnt realise there are so many short people out there.It seems like woman are from 4'8 to 5'3 something like that.I think that if the average height was changed down then the clothes sold in the shops would be shorter.That makes sense doesnt it.I am sad to say that i being on the below average height for a male it is abit painful.I am training at the local hospital to help out on wards.I do things like feed patients at lunch/supper time and do the beds to help out the nurses.I am 17 now and my height is 4'10 i cant see myself growing any taller has my mum is only 4'10 also and dad is 5'2.My younger sister is 13 and my height already it looks like she will be taller than me and mum.My mum comes in handy for altering my trousers and her own.I remember at school other pupils used to say that i should check in with the dwarf society has i would probably qualify.Now that used to annoy me alot.I was bullied a little till i decided to try karate i ended up with a black belt after 4 yrs worth of it.It has come in handy for me on occassions has when guys try to start trouble in the clubs i just tend to wind them and they end up on the floor.Well i isnt my fault if i can only reach their chests when they are over 6'0.Lucky for me it is never me that gets chucked out but the other guys.Now my job that i do is very good has i am helping not only the patients but taking some of the slack from the nurses.A couple of weeks ago i was told to make one of the beds with a nurse.Now she was one side i was the other but for somereason i was able to do my side before hers.She laughed and said what a fast little guy you are.To which made me laugh.I then had to get a patient out of her bed to sit in the chair i tried to lift her but didnt give up.The woman was about 5'9 and i struggled like mad but did it in the end.The only problem i have it having to wait for one of the nurses to reache the clean laundry off the shelves.I can only manage to carry a few has i cant see over them otherwise.I think that i choose to do this because i felt there would be people my height working there.So apart from about 6 nurses on the ward they are short has me.The taller ones are between 5'5 and 5'10.For some reason i tend to be on a par with the philippino woman i can look them straight in the eye instead of upwards.It was about last month when i asked one of the nurses out on my ward to my surprise .... she said YES...So far we have had some good times working together and going out.The thing is that i think she seems abit more serious than me and i am worried about the height of both of us.I mean when i was younger i used to always blame my mum for all the problems i had due to my height and i was really bad on her.Now what i dont want is for my kids to blame me about their height.I mean i know that short woman want tall guys.So why not tall woman and short guys.That would work out for me.I mean i wouldnt mind if the woman was about 5'8 the most has then even though she would have about 10 inches on me it shouldnt matter has long has we both love each other lol.

Yeah being small can suck. I'm a 17 year old girl and I'm 5ft 3. I don't know how I ended up small. I mean my mum is 5ft 5 which is quite short but its over the average for a woman here and my dad and all his brothers are over 6ft. My cousins who are girls to are tall, one is 6ft the other is 5ft 10. It's embarrasing when all your family is taller than you. I'm not small boned either so I tend to put on weight easily which isn't helped by my height. I was always small from the first day of school. The last time we got measured at school, I was 14 all the class were over 5ft except me I was 4ft 11 at the time.

I like the article and everything rings true to me has well.Having a twin sister and being shorter than her doesnt right true but it is.My mum used to measure our heights every year on our birthday.At the start it turned out she was bigger in weight and length to me.I apparently didnt get much nutirients inside.Now when we started school together Trisha was like 4 ins taller and alway proud about it.She was always showing off saying how much taller she was.She continued to grow has she got older i never got a chance to catch up.I had some good friends who were also quite short and i tend to keep with them.When we had a height check before we went ot high school it turned out Trisha was a whole 6 ins taller than me.Mum took me to the doctors to check me out he said that i was gonna be a slow grower and if i am lucky i may reach 5'0.Now i was 14 yrs old and my growth spurt was rather slow i stopped growing at 16 yrs old with a height of 4'10 Trisha was 5'6 a full 8 ins taller even to this day she will mention my height and say things about me.WE live and learn i suppose just accept what we have and use it.

I have this same complex. Not only am I only 5'4", but small boned so the guys reject me for the not only taller, but THICKER women!!! P****S me off!!! They also look at me as delicate and unable to defend myself, so they don't take me seriously. So I act tough and rude with aggressive gestures to make myself look bigger and tougher. I'm 16 and I'm 4'11 too, there are a lot of people in Indonesia with this height and even shorter...
The official height of being a midget is 4'10 but there are people shorter than that that have proportional bodies here.
so don't feel too bad.
I want to be tall too and yes I suppose it's hard, I dread going overseas where I'm positive people will tower over me.
But this discussion has made me feel better knowing that I'm not alone.
Now I REALLY want to reach at LEAST 5'2 !!!

Being short used to be a problem when i was younger but has we all grow up lol lol it does get abit easier.Take it from me.Now being 45 yrs old i have taken alot of hassle being short and male.My height used to be 4'11 i just couldnt make it 5'0 which was a shame.The point is that i was measured for work about 3 months ago to be told i was 4'10.Now either i have always thought i was 4'11 or i am shrinking boo hoo.Now i didnt expect to be a giant has my mum was 5'1 and dad 5'0.My 2 sisters are all younger than me and their heights are Janine 29 yrs old and 5'3, Julieann 32 yrs old and 5'2, then Marie 37 yrs old she is 5'5.I have 2 brothers Michael he is 40 yrs old and 5'0 then there is Richard 42 yrs old he is 5'2.Okay so i am only a couple of ins shorter than my family.Being young i was alway saying to my family why i didnt get to be over 5'0 like all of them but after noticing that we were all mainly short anyway did matter in the end.I remember having my great grandmother around and thinking what a great woman she was has being a rather short person she had so much respect from us all.I remember she was around 4'10 up till she died before she went into hospital she had lost quite abit of height by the end i remember her to this day she was the only person shorter than me which i wasnt proud of she ended up around 4'8.She used to tell me stories and say about her life growing up.She told me about a wedding she went to one of her brothers and she was quite abit shorter than everyone and one of her grandchildren mentioned her height to which she wasnt too pleased has the remark was not too nice in the first place.Her comeback was pretty good and put her grandchild in her place.So no matter how hard life gets there are always people worse off than you.

im 18 but im only 5'7" and EVERYWHERE i go people think that im 13 or 12, For a woman that height is tall and good, but for a guy its so annoying and i wish i could grow just a little bit more... 3 more inches, that would be perfect. Its really annoying because mostly everyone else is 5'11" and up, i feel stuck like im a little kid. I heard that men stop growing at age 21 and im a late bloomer so im crossing my fingers, but my parents are around 5'9" and 5'5" so im sure thats just wishfull thinking. I am a short student at collage i am 19 now and i stopped growing when i was 10 yrs old.I know when because i was in primary school and still the shortest in class.I had reached 4'8 age 10 now being 19 yrs old, i was measured when we did a project at secondary school i ages and sizes it was.I was 16 yrs old and measured at 4'10 with shoes on that wasnt too bad i thought then people had to take their shoes off we had to stand near our first marks and i turned out at 4'8.Has soon has it was finished i put my shoes on straight away has i was shocked at our short i was compared to my class.The nearest was 5'2 and she stressed about her height has well.I used to say just be grateful for what you have.I mean you have a good 6 ins on me.Some people went like AAHH aint she cute whereas some was very rude.Like quite put your shoes on before you disappear.Out of the boys they where rather taller than the girls and they didnt have to take their shoes off to do it.I noticed that there were 4 boys shorter than the rest.I hadnt taken any notice till this task came.The poor boys measured upin who was the oldest to youngest in class and then the height.The four shorter boys were embarrassed has 2 of them were actually the oldest in class and about a over a foot shorter.The other 2 were youngest in class.Now these 4 boys always hung around together has they were good friends anyway.The boys were like bookends 2 were 4'10 and then 4'11.When we had an end of school disco there were 2 boys could get a date with a girl has they were knocked back.I was asked out by Justin who was 4'10.He explainned how his mum had to alter the suit he bought.The other guy was with a girl who was around 5'5.We let the other 2 guys hand with us.I was also kind enough to dance with them has well has Justin.
Being a collage was very daunting has i hadnt seen Justin for 2 years then he was on a course at the same collage.I knew him straight away has i went to talk to him i was still wearing my 2in shoes and Justin was now exactly has he was.He didnt grow another inch after school so he stayed at 4'10.It was nice to see him has we were still eye to eye with eachother lol lol.
We are still great friends.Justin's 3 other friends managed to grow abit taller they are 5'2 5'6 and 5'7.Poor Justine didnt grow but to me he is great has he is.

My goodness you guys. Being short might make everyday things a little harder, but don't let it get you down. Don't let society's standards overtake you and bring you down. Being short can be hot. All you have to do is find the right person who WON'T care about how tall you are because it's just another superficial aspect of this world. Maybe if all the short people had an awesome, positive, optimistic attitude about their height people would wish they could be more like you, instead of the other way around! I am a short boy, still at school.My age is 16yrs old and 4'10.I know i wont grow any taller has the doctor did some tests on me and said the bones have fused together.I have grown since 12yrs old.In my class there are 5 girls shorter than 5'0.The shortest boy is 5'4 in my year.I was always tormented by taller pupils who wanted to prove a point that i was weak.One day i turned the tables on them and got my own back.Being this short i decided to learn some martial arts.I am a black belt in karate and i also do some ju-jitsu which is coming along well.In a couple of months we are gonna have an end of school disco which should be quite good.I do have my eye on a couple of girls who i could ask.Two of the girls have been dropping hints to me but they are both 5'6.I dont know if i really want to go there with a tall girl.Now dont get me wrong i like some tall girls but i would feel more comfortable with a bit shorter one.I have tried being friendly with a girl who is 4'11.I will have to check up to see if she is going with someone.If not there is another girl who is 5'0.The other grils tht are short all say they want to go with a tall guy so that is there loss i suppose.I mean there is no guarantees that a tall guy wants to go with a short girl.
I suppose that's what happens when you come from a short family i mean i didnt expect to be a giant but.

I understand the problems of us shorter peeps.I look in the mirror everyday and see what lies ahead.I am a female 22 yrs old now and my height is 4'9.I have a older brother 28 yrs old and 6'2.Then comes my older sister 25 yrs old and 5'6.Both my parents are pretty much average mum being 5'7 and dad 6'0.I used to joke that i was shorter than my sister and brother due to them taking all the height gene which was not true anyway.I am similar in height to my nan who is 4'11 and i have an aunt she is 5'0.My nan being quite funny says that she started out at 5'1 and shrunk 2 ins so far.She says she will soon be down to my height if she carries on.I remember my mum always having to adjust my clothes when my sister had outgrown her clothes i had to have a good over 6 ins off them.I suppose it is good that i was ant older than them and shorter that would have been a nightmare.I would also have not thought twice about having some help in making me taller has long has there wasnt too much pain lol.I dont think the growth hormone treatment would have me too much has i dont think it would have even brought me to 5'0.I would have loved to be at least 5'0.I have a couple of short friends Mel is 4'11 and Janice 5'0.At school i tended to stick with shorter girls has some girls were well over 5'0.I always thought i had to prove myself at school which was quite easy.In GYM we had to do certain exercises i was the second fasted girl at climbing the rope.I maybe wasnt the fastes at running in races but in strength i was pretty good.

Im 21 yrs old, Im 4 foot 9 and I love my height. I've always known I was gonna be short as I come from a small family (with heights ranging from 4 foot 10 to 5 foot 6) and its never bothered me. Joking about my height I find is a good icebreaker especially with guys (what guy can resist a conversation on how I cant reach the pedals in a car lol!) I will admit its difficult finding clothes to fit as living in the UK there isnt too many retailers who sell a wide range of petite clothes ... but that just gives me an excuse to buy more high heel shoes so my jeans are the right length!

So im not all that short, i am 5'7", but i am a guy. My Dad is 6'7", and im done growing... the doctors say so. My Girlfriend, is 5'8" prolly almost 5'9", and it sucks. i want to be the tall dark and handsome type but im not. and i have kind overcome it, but not always. All my friends are almost 6 foor. my best friend is 6'1". I feel so excluded most of the time. So I know exactly how it feels, Its probably the one thing i want most sometimes.

I'm 16 and 4'10". I know I'm not gonna grow anymore, and you know what, I don't care! I never have. Growing up I have always been the shortest in my classes, and people always make comments, but it has never honestly bothered me. I just smile and make fun of myself too. If you have a good attitude, people don't have any fun picking on you. It's not always fun being short, but it has it's advantages, too. I'm a cheerleader, and so naturally, I'm a flyer with the stature that I am. I love it, cheerleading is practically my life, and it would be more boring if I didn't get to fly. Also, my boyfriend is about 5'5", which is pretty short for a guy. But it's okay, because next to each other, we look very average. I really don't care that I'm short, if I wasn't, it wouldn't be ME!

Hi i am an adult male,my nickname throughout my life has been LILLIPUT.This was given by my dad who always wanted his children to be be strong stapping lads.I couldnt quite make his expectations.I have 4 brother all younger they have the heights from 5'10 to 6'4.Me on the other hand am 5'0.My sisters are both 5'6 and 5'8 and also younger.My dad is a 6'3 strong bulging alpha male has he always says he is.My mum on the other hand is a sweetie she is 5'3.I have always had a hard time with dad has he always mentions my height and how i couldnt even be has tall has mum.My height is similar to my mum's mum who is 4'11 and my mum's sisters who are 4'10 and 5'2.You wouldnt believe it but this still goes on and i am in my 50's.My mum tries so hard to get him to lay off me but he doesnt listen.The last family gathering at a cousins wedding was the last straw.My dad told me to sit with the short people (ie) my nan and aunts.At the end of the party i had to say something has it was just wrong.I had to put my point across to him to just leave it.All the time my dad just shorted insults like do i need a step ladder to reach him and he cant hear me way down there.Johnny my brother felt the same and he expressed his anger saying it has to stop.A few days later we all sat down and talked about it and cleared the air.So far everything has been so civil and great.

I think i must be one of the shortest on here.I am 20 yrs old and my height at the age of 12 was 4'9.I have never grown an inch to this day.The most annoying thing is having a younger sister reaching 5'6.My oldest brother reached 6'0.My sister and brother took after my dad who is 6'2.I on the other hand took after my mum who was 4'10.I couldnt even top her height.I understand about genetics the doctor felt that due to my mum being short there was no need to have g.h.t.This is what made me even madder has i have been told that another doctor would have helped and it was possible to make a height of 5'4 at least.I mean that would have been great wouldnt it.I am always compared to childrens heights some even come up to me.In total i have been on 3 dates (1) was an end of school disco this was with a girl 5'1 tall when she wore heels that made her 5'4.I was quite abit shorter than her by about 7 ins.The next (2) was a x.mas party at the bank where i worked she was amazing has she was 4'10 tall.When she was all dressed up and wearing heels she also had about 4 ins on me.Then came (3) Her name is Gemma and we both are totally smitten with each other.She is 5'0 tall and to be just the right height.I mean i didnt expect to meet someone shorter than me WHICH IS A SHAME but Gemma is very considerate when we go out she is never one to wear high heels ,never has she just wears her 1 in flats.I find it facinating when we go out mainly guys they are forever staring and makind snide remarks but it doesnt bother us.I have asked many a time if she wanted a taller guy ,she just says she has tried it with a 6'4 guy and never again.We are hoping to move in together in the near future which would be good.So i hope this helps people.

i'm the eldest in my family. three younger brothers, all tall. i am only 5'2 (1/2). yay for the half. my mother is 5'8 while my father is 6'0. everyone in my family is above 5'5 at least. i dunno if its cuz i started dance training hardcore at 2 years old and supposedly working out too young stunts your growth or what? i'm only 100 lbs too. so im short and skinny. all of us kids are really skinny from my mom (who was a model). but here i am always the tiniest and the littlest. its so frustrating sometimes.

I cant understand short woman who want to date a tall guy.I have seen a woman under 5'0 date a guy 6'5 WHAT IS THE POINT. I know what it is the woman thinks if she dated a guy that tall then their kids will be tall.It doesnt work that way maybe you might have a boy that can take after their dad and the girl takes after the mum.It looks so stupid when they are walking around they need to take a stool with them that is at least a foot tall just to be able to talk to them. Just try to be proud of what u have got.I know it can be a pain sometimes but if anyone gets teased then just laugh back at them as they will get bored in the end. Some of u people are kinda short but there are worse people around like the restricted growth people. I am 5'2 and a touch and i do feel sorry for the really short people.Anyone under 5'0 just be happy try to accept it as then u will have a happier life. It is just a shame that when we all get older we shrink but we will still not be anywhere near 5'5.Good luck

I cant stand my height i am the shortest and now i am getting old so i am probably SHRINKING. If i could change something it would,ve been my height. I wouldve loved to have been as tall as my peers. My friends used to take the piss out of me as i was the one stopping us getting into the cinema. Now i have nothing but regret as i feel my mother should have had me checked out as i am short.Obvisously im not the shortest person on earth but i couldve done with a hand. I have 2 kids that are nearly taller than me my 10 year old boy is nearly up to me. My 13 year old girl is past me. I cant believe it for the second time in my life i'm gonna be short again.I hate having photos taken as i usually wait for everyone to stand up then i squeeze in. All my friends are taller even if by only 3 inches. I would kill to be 3 inches taller than my measly 5'2 .It wasnt a joy growing up either in my family as i had the mickey taken out of me by my own family.Has i was the shortest then my parents were about 5'7 and 5'8 then my sisters and brother were from 5'4 to 5'11. You might think that wasnt a big difference but to me it was when i am the second oldest.At school was a nightmare when i was asked a question i was told to stand upto answer. I told the teacher i was standing up so he moved me to the front so he could see me.I now find it is best to just get on with it as it is too bad anyway as when you reach a certain age then you dont grow ANYWAY. Just take a look at your parents as that is more or less where you get your height from SO BLAME THEM.

I hate my height 5'2 1/2 WOW to the half. I am the second oldest in my family i am 43yrs and probably shrinking. I hope by not too much lol. I have always hated it all through school my friends being taller. All my family are taller and i find it abit embarrassing as i have to look up to all of them. Not only that but i am nearly the shortest in my own family.My daughter is 13 and taller and soon it will be my youngest son he is up to my shoulders and only 10 . I feel nothing could be as cruel as that as i would then be the shortest in all my immediate family. Going shopping i find the hardest and embarassing especially trying to get my shopping OUT of the trolley as putting it in is the easy part .One of these days i will fall in the freezers when i need to get something. So as i said i hope i dont shrink too much as i may then be classed as a midget which would be a pain.

I'm 4'11" tall.(yes, I said tall) I'm married to a man who is 6'3". We have 4 kids. Most people don't think that's possible! My problem is that clothes never fit right . Even stupid petite sizes! My body is built like a wide-track Grand-Am. I look okay from the side, but from the front I'm now as broad as a barn...having kids seems to do more to us short women than our taller peers. I do like having smaller feet than everyone else, though....too bad alot of styles start in a 6 nowadays.

I am a girl whos 5 foot 2, alot of people might think that i'm average, but as a young child i was obsessed with modeling. To the point where i would "turn my living room into a runway" and wear mommy's heels. I used to think i was tall when i was younger, and i used to pray to be short (weird....huh) probably because i was tall at that poiny....I've been 5'2 since 5th grade and now im in 12th grade and havent grown an inch. I was watching the victoria's secret fashion show and that just made me feel worse. I wish there was some miracle that would let me be 5'8, until then i guess i'll just stick with heels. It just sucks because there is a lot of cosmetic surgery out there like boob jobs, nose jobs, lips, lipo, why cant there be something unpainful for height!

I am just like you. I love fashion and always wanted to be a model, but I am so small. When I was a kid/teen I thought it couldn't be possible that I could remain this short. However, now at 25 I no longer can dream. I will be this short for life and I hate it. It's funny but, men always adored me. It was women who made comments. omg..well im short and i understand where you're coming from a little too well. I'm content with my height now, only because I've realized that I'm not going to get any taller but I'm sure if someone said take this pill and grow 5 inches, i'd take it without thinking twice.
