I agree with the whole article my cousin wrote about. Great writing Jen...We miss you here in MS...The only thing I wanted to add was, I remember seeing on TV the husband is common law married with kids, and is he doing this for Terri, or for the insurance money that was told he had on her? If it is for Terri, than ok, but if it is for the insurance money for his other family, then I think they should let her parents have the choice since her parent's brought her into this world. Thanks

The whole incident with this woman seems very complicated, and difficult to discuss. While her parents love her and want to see her come back from the brain damage; and her husband can't bear seeing her in pain when (apparently) she specifically stated to him that she didn't want to live in a vegitative state. It's a very personal and philosophical issue. I feel that the woman should have the right to die, because lets face it, people have the right to make a choice themselves. I think the woman's soul is trapped inside her body, and right now she can't escape...she may very well be alive somewhere in there, but she can't express anything because she is so severly damaged.
Anyway, I would continue ranting, but that's enough.

Other than the misspelling of Terri SCHIAVO, I agree with the article. Everyone should get a living will before it's too late.
