For the third year in a row, State Farm Neighborhood Assist program is offering 40 top causes $25 000 grant to solve a problem in their community.

Have you identified a a problem in your neighborhood, solving which would make your community a better place to live in? And could $25 000 help to do something about it? If so, from March 3 to March 23 (or until the 4000th submission comes in) you can submit your cause through State Farm Neighborhood Assist Facebook app available for free at www.statefarm.com/neighborhoodassist.

"People are looking for ways to help their communities," said Kellie Clapper, State Farm Assistant Vice President. "Neighborhood Assist empowers individuals to identify problems in their communities and provides funding to help create a positive impact."

Last year more than 3.4 million votes were cast in helping to choose the top 40 grant-receiving causes. This year the public voting phase will be starting on April 28 when the top 200 causes have been chosen by the State Farm Youth Advisory Board, and the voting will be open until May 16. Everyone can vote for their favorite causes up to 10 times a day within that time frame. So make your voice count, both by submitting a cause as well as voting for them.
