Mr. Kerry was heard telling someone that many foreign leaders are hoping he defeats Mr. Bush in November. Mr. Bushs'  camp were quick to point out that  Mr. Kerry should  name names, which he says he will not do. Mr. Bush has come out and said that Mr. Kerry was not telling the truth.  The saga of American politics goes on.

In Spain, the goverment that was in power was voted out after the terrorist bombings in Madrid. The new leader in Spain said that he would pull his troops out of Iraq by June. The Spanish people are 90% in favor of this action.

In other news, the President and Vice-president of Taiwan were shot while on a campaign swing in the south of the island nation. Both have survived and the Saturday election will be held.

In Iraq, it would seem that the United States and the governing council have reached an impass as to what type of goverment will take over on July 1st. Colin Powell, in a press conference in Bagdad, said there was no impass and that everything was moving along. Meanwhile, the violence continues all over the nation.

In Russia, President Putin won in a landslide election. With over 70% of the vote, he will continue to lead that nation for 4 more years. The election watchers cast doubt on the results;  because the media is controlled by the state and it was hard for any other candidate to get any media coverage.

Well, this wraps up another week in the crazy world of politics, so keep an eye on the polls and we will see ya next week.
