Russia have blasted a rocket off to the space station with a Russian, an American and an Italian onboard.  They are expected to dock with the station on Sunday when they will replace the crew, who have been in space for the last six months.

This will be the first shuttle docking with the space station since the Columbia accident two years ago. The crew currently on board the space station, Leroy Chiao, Salizhan Sharipov and Roberto Vittoria will return to earth in 10 days.
