Actor Bruce Willis has been appointed 'Officer in the Order of Arts and Letters' by France.  This is one of the country's highest cultural honours.

France is paying homage to an actor who represents American cinema and the emotions he creates for us to share on screens throughout the world, said Culture Minister Renaud Donnedieu de Vabres.
