Hey, President 'U'ber liar! Hey 43!Hey Dubya! Even most tele-marketers are more believeable than you!
You've squandered the confidence and faith many may have had in you! What happened? Could you be possessed by the ghost of tricky Dick Nixon?Your actions prove I just can't trust you and yours!Here's ten reasons why I've come to feel this way:
1) Bush Jr's hideous delay in responding on 911. Just because Jr. was with kids, doesn't mean he had toact like one! I realize now, he probably couldn't have doneanything effective, but we would have liked to see him try!
2) Bush Jr's ridiculously named " War on Terrorism " Despite my understanding that ONLY our Congress candeclare war, his handlers have convinced Bush Jr. todeclare war on one isolated tactic of war. That's likeGeneral Custer declaring war on arrows! That's likeGeneral Westmoreland declaring war on punji sticks.That's like General Foods declaring war on flour.
3) Bush Jr. seems to lie.....or hide the truth too much! War in Afghanistan was understandable. War in Iraq washis personal revenge to reverse his Daddy's failure there!His three much repeated reasons to attack have all beenproven to be quite untrue. He deceived us about the yellowcake in Niger, He misled us about the aluminum tubes forcentrifuging uranium, and Dick Cheney lied to scare us about the mobile biological units. What's worse, they bothknew the truth, and then worked to hide it from the public!
4) Missionaccomplished?? We have the best military in the world who won the ground war in record time. Did anyone working for Jr. plan what todo afterwards?Is there really nine billion dollars of our taxmoney missing? Bush Jr said the Iraqis would welcome us,and that Iraqi oil would pay for it. Well, that didn't happen!Bush Jr. sanctioned torture!At that point, if America everheld the moral high ground, then we lost it, again, Ooops!Then, Abu Grahib prison pictures came out. Ooops again!
5)Federal response to Hurricane Katrina. Anyone who watched CNN had a better understanding ofevents than the Presidential appointees. Maybe they wereall out on their yachts or playing polo.The President andhis executives weren't thinking about any victims that day,and that was clearly wrong, and perhaps even racist!
6)Bush Jr. maxed out Uncle Sam's credit cards. This administration has moved the national debt abovenine trillion dollars!While reaching record debt, a taxcut for the rich mugged the poor, unfairly robbing them ofdesparately needed minimal services. Compassionateconservative?...I don't think so!Hypocrite!
7)Border Security, and the lack there of: If we can't stop drugs and people from being smuggledacross the border, then we can't stop a terrorist with adirty bomb from crossing either. If He doesn't do something,anything effective, it's a matter of time until we, the people,get to play HIDE the salami with a suitcasenuke!
8)Bush Jr's judgement calls are too spooky for me. The nomination of his darling sycophant Harriet Miers toThe Supreme Court was stranger than letting his VicePresident carry a loaded shotgun!The ports deal withDubai made Jr. look like a Duke lacrosse player caughtwith his digital camera out and his pants down.
9) Is Bush Jr's administration corrupt ? When more of your aides, advisors, and staff have beenindicted than the Dick Nixon years, then we've reachedthe tipping point!If you add some pictures of Bush Jr. withthe alleged criminal lobbyist, Jack Abramoff, then we couldbe talking about articles of impeachment here! Oh goody!As John Dean of Watergate infamy says: " It's not thecrime so much, as it's the cover-up that gets you!"
10) My own grab-bag of issues full of gut feelings: Family ties to the Saudis-Energy and environmentalpolicies-illegal wiretaps-Plame-gate-Secret prisons-rendering detainees-the old credibility gap revisited-Outsourcing jobs-Underfunding all of the VA Hospitals- wasting all of that worldwide goodwill and sympathyafter the September 11th attacks...yada yada....
Using borrowed Tele-Tubbies logic from an well known astro-physicist, I will now prove our 43rd president, George W. Bush Jr, or Dubya IS EVIL!
We all agree a lot of time and money went into making Dubya. In the first line of the equation, this fact will be represented by:
DUBYA = TIME X MONEY
We all know the phrase; " Time equals money" The second line of the quation will read:
DUBYA = MONEY X MONEY
We all know that a variable times itself, as in:xtimesxwill yeild it's square.As in X squared.So the third line of the equation will read:
DUBYA = MONEY˛
Lastly, we all know that money is the root of all evil!ergo:
DUBYA = EVIL!
There you have it, as clear as I know how to put it.OK? I cannot trust this cowboy who's canoodling our citizens!I hope one day to write a story about the reasons I DO trust our president, but I'm not holding my breath.
You make your own mind up. Oh, I dunno, the way I figure it is: Maybe if you throw enough truth on the wall, Some of it will end up sticking! I'm Lue Deck, The Comic in Red Shoes and I approved this message.
Factzone: The truth about Kim Jong Il Kim Jong Il, the leader of the free world, has decided to move on to more fertile grounds, leaving with us just the memories of 8-color rainbows, singing Korean women and couple of nuclear weapons. But who was this man whose next ambition would have been to get the next Nobel Peace prize? Here are just a few facts you should know about.

Well, now that some time has passed since this article was written, history shows us the author was far more right about Dubya than he was wrong! Hang on, Junior only has two more years to screw up The US and the world.

My, my. Aren't we all civilized while the US shatters at our feet? Wubya doesn't have the brain cells to wreck most of this havoc; instead, he leaves the decisions to Rummy and his other scary, old cronies. If you truly feel safe with Wubya at the helm, then you must be a complete moron. Do you think Wubya could possibly manage to wake up and deal with global warming or Katrina rebuilding or horrendous debt or starving Americans or the poor or the jobless or...? Nah, time to visit the ranch and play cowboy or spend a cozy weekend Camp David chasing squirrels.

It's funny how conservatives can't make a logical, reasoned argument without resorting to name-calling and general nastiness. You, my friend, belong with Ann Coulter and her ilk. Tolerance? You don't know the meaning of the word or, more likely, don't believe in the concept. BTW, we all know how Ann earned her supposed bones. Yet another BJ in the White House!
Grow up, pal. We've been had. We've been lied to repeatedly by this Administration. Katrina? Who put a complete idiot in charge of FEMA? Harriet Miers? Puhleez.
Perhaps your arguments are valid. Perhaps not. But your tone and implications about the IQ of the author are pure Republican lack of reasoned argument we've all heard a million times. Attack the writer if you can't cough up a decent argument against the content.
Hatred and intolerance breed more hatred and intolerance. And you, dear writer, are living proof.
BTW, "based arguments?" What in the world does that mean?
C says on 2006-04-18 18:13:21 about unfounded/based arguments
Bush's "delayed" response to 911: Fact is that when this happened and he was notified, another member of his cabinet or assosciates had (and explained this ti the public later on) written on a piece of paper that Bush should stay where he was, and they were looking into everything right at the moment (obviously not in so many words). In videos of Bush with the kids during this time, you can see Bush look over to the guy (off camera) and nod to him writing this. But its great that you make this popular, ignorant claim without any research, like the rest of the moronic masses.
Bush's War on Terror: Actually Presidents can start war for a period of time without immediate approval of Congress. But he did have approval of Congress for Afghanistan and Iraq. The "War on Terror" is the idea. Like the War on Drugs. I don't recall any president going to congress asking to declare a war on drugs. But yet again, nice to see your making claims without any rational or logical thought.
Bush's War on Iraq: Theres no proof (and its a stupid claim) that the war is solely to revenge his father's "failure". Actually, genius, Bush Sr. didn't fail. He wasnt trying to oust Saddam and said in his book that going into Iraq to do so would proove difficult and too much trouble. This shows 2 things: 1) Sr. didnt fail, and 2) With Jr. knowing this, why would he solely bring a war on iraq for something that he knows his father was against. Possibly new reasons came about since then? Oh yes, thats right. Someone who finally wasn't willing to take this crap anymore. BTW, Al Qaeda isn't the only terrorist organization. Iraq was always a sponsor of terrorism in certain countries, and a harbororer of terrorists. Do some research.
Bush and Katrina: Maybe you should be talking about the Mayor or New Orleans, who had the power to mobilize a fleet of buses in the city to make trips back and forth to move people out of danger. But I guess the mayor didnt care about the people either, and was racist as well, even though he is black. Or maybe no one had a fast action plan to handle something like Katrina. And thats why it took time to do things. Shame on them for not foreseeing and stopping a hurricane.
Border Security: I don't know how big you think our borders are, but I can assure you that theres not one doorway that people have to go through. Theres alot of places where people can sneak/cross in. Its a hard task, stupid. Maybe to suppress the liberal attacks on Bush for not securing the borders, we should be very strict on who we let in, and maybe build a wall along our borders. That way liberals can complain about that.
Sam says on 2006-04-18 18:10:11 about Dubya
Hey notduped! Hah! Not duped, that's a good one. You really want a corrupt C student trying to save you from the rest of the world? You wouldn't be so scared of the rest of the world if Bush hadn't ALIENATED everyone against the USA. Mission Accomplished? Hah, again! That was three years ago and we're still not finished screwing up Iraq. Now he wants to mess with Iran. Bad plan, Dubya. Nearly our entire armed forces are busy getting blown up in Iraq. Who are we gonna send to Iran to be nuked? No, I'm not duped by the media. I've been duped by my President and all his indicted friends. I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL 2008!
