I know you have probably heard enough about Michael Moore's "Fahrenheit 9/11". But there are some points of view that I have not heard in the media which I thought should be expressed. This is not a review -- I assume that you have seen the controversial anti-Bush movie or know about it.
Reaction has varied from denial -- White House staffer Dan Bartlett prefers to see "Shrek" instead -- to descrediting it -- 9/11 commissioner, Senator Bob Kerrey calls it dishonest.
Its supporters generally like the movie and are willing to gloss over some inaccurate portrayal of events.
I for one, did not like the fact that his interview with Rep. Kennedy (R-MN), was edited to remove the rep.'s response that his nephew was en-route to Afghanistan (http://www.bowlingfortruth.com/fahrenheit911/warsignup.htm). That was unfair.
However I was struck by the points that stack up against the Bush adminstration and Mr. Bush himself. In one scene, when addressing a group of apparently wealthy people, Mr. Bush refers to his audience as "the haves and have-mores," a cynical remark coming from a public servant. He later tells them they are his base. This speaks directly to a majority of his constituents (that includes have-nots) even if he was not speaking *to* them.
Government is supposed to be for the people regardless of their income level -- government is not a corporation. So I ask Bush supporters, how many ways can you look at a speech containing those words?
Factzone: The truth about Kim Jong Il Kim Jong Il, the leader of the free world, has decided to move on to more fertile grounds, leaving with us just the memories of 8-color rainbows, singing Korean women and couple of nuclear weapons. But who was this man whose next ambition would have been to get the next Nobel Peace prize? Here are just a few facts you should know about.

Mr. Freshgreens says on 2005-08-15 03:51:28 about Another opinion on Michael Moore's film
Michael moore is not making these films for fame or to favour the side of the democrats. He's trying to help america realize the truth about american society, and how we must grow up! all of us, we judge others all the time but we never judge our selfs and when some like michael moore gives a boot in the ass and helps realize what is going on in the real world, some of you may not believe in god but you know what, he beleives in you, you don't need to be an adult as some people say, because when your an adult your an ASSHOLE! we need to be more like our childreen, loving, unjudgemental, and free. we did not have to start that war in iraq, we did not even have to attack afganistan, hey people do bad things but the good people of this world can sort matters out. violence does not correct violence. america has now become the british empire from back in the day, america does what it wants and then polices all other nations. the truth is america is afraid of losing it's power. (When one gains power they are afriad of losing it)
The problem with society today is that our technolgy has far exceeded our humanity!
what still do not understand is how other justify Death with Death
P.S mr. bush why don't we stop doing whats best for america and maybe do whats best for humanity
Paratrooper says on 2005-03-26 22:38:45 about Fahrenheit 9/11
What you failed to learn about the particular scene in the movie where Bush is speaking about the "haves and the have -nots" is that in fact he wasn't speaking to constituents, rather, he was delivering a self depricating monologue at a fundraiser ( which raised 10 million for pediatric cancer research). This is a classic case of Michael Moore's movie making dishonesty. Moore cropped the original footage, which otherwise shows those sitting right next to the President, namely, former Vice President Al Gore.
